Primary and secondary school licences
Primary and secondary school licences are administered by NZ School Trustees Association. Screen and audio licences are also available via this service. Most but not all schools have CLNZ licences: check with your school’s administration if you are not sure. Remember, if your school doesn’t have a licence then you are restricted to copying limits of the education exception in the Copyright Act. Schools licences run for a 12 month period from July to June and must then be updated; NZSTA will normally contact each school in May.
To take up a new licence or ask a question about an existing licence refer to the contact details at getlicenced.co.nz.
